superhuman baby kicks

The last week or so, baby's kicks have been insanely hard. It doesn't hurt but I swear I don't remember my DD kicking this hard. Granted, she's 6 so my memory may have failed me on this one... but still. The kicks feel so much stronger than usual. Weird. I thought I was too early on to have those kicks that make your whole belly jump (and mine's still kinda fat so kicks are usually harder to feel).

Anyone care to share their experiences?

My son has kicked so much harder with this pregnancy than my first one did.  I'm also carrying him much differently so that could be making the difference.  I told my friend how hard he's kicking and she said "Well, you did have to give him those steroids for his lungs.  Maybe he's got roid rage!"

Well...this is my first pregnancy so I have nothing to compare it to, but my baby girl has some powerful kicks too.  I also seem to be carrying her low and I can feel her at the bottom alot.  It doesn't hurt, but it kinda takes my breath away sometimes.

Esp when laying down and relaxing they can get rough...not painful, lil uncomfortable at times, but def goes to town on my belly.  So I am with ya!  Stacey

I SOOO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL...THIS IS MY 3RD BABY AND I DON'T REMEMBER EITHER OF THEM MOVING OR KICKING SO MUCH AND SHE DOES...AND MY FIRST WAS 10.9!
SOMETIMES IT EVEN STARTLES ME...NOT BECAUSE OF PAIN BUT BECAUSE IT IS SO HARD... FUN THO !  LOL
I WONDER IF IT IS AN INDICATION AS TO HOW ACTIVE SHE WILL BE?? :)
